2. Camilo James Barkus, (1973-1995) given in March 9, 1995 at St. Anthony's Church, Lorain, OH.  "Reflections".  Requested by his mother, Lil Barkus.

 

3. Mary Hayes Wardwell, (1916-1996) given in May, 1996 at St. Anthony's Church, Lorain, OH.  "The Apple Does not fall far from the Tree".  Requested by Mary Wardwell.

 

4. Elnora Riley Perdew Alferio, (??-1996) given June 24, 1996 at Delaware Methodist Church, Lorain, OH.  "Elnora Riley Perdew Alferio".  Requested by husband, Tony Alferio.

 

5. Sidney Knowles Dengerd, (1948-2000) given April 22, 2000 at Boyer Home for Funerals, Lorain, OH.  "God Understood. God Understands".  Requested by Sidney in her suicide note.

 

6. Garth Montgomery Tavenner, Sr., (1944-2000) given on May 22, 2000 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Moriarty, New Mexico.  "Let it Be".  Requested by his wife, Sadie Gonzales Tavenner.

 

7. Charlotte "Cissie" McGinnis Woffinden, (1952-2006) given June, 2006 at Lakeview Park, in the Kiwanas Pavillion, Lorain, OH.  I conducted a memorial service at the request of her brother, Jimmy McGinnis.

 

8. Gail "Butch" Martin Neal, (1944-2006) "Words of Comfort" given on November 25, 2006 at Good Shepard Baptist Church, Amherst, OH. Requested by former wife, Natalie Schwartz Neal.

 

9. Quentin ("Q") Luke Tavenner (1979-2008) "Reflections on St. Francis of Assisi and Quentin Luke Tavenner" given July 18, 2008 at the gravesite service, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Moriarty, New Mexico.  I asked permission of his wife, Felicia, if I may speak out of love and respect for my nephew, my brother, Garth's (and sister-in-law, Sadie's son).       Permission was given.

10. Norbert R. "Nubby" Welter (1916-2008) "Reflections and Prayers Offered" on September 25, 2008 at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.  Words spoken with the consent of his wife of 61 years, Betty Carney Welter.  Mr.& Mrs. Welter's daughter, Gail, was a dearest high school friend who died at the age of 27 on September 3, 1975.

11. Rhea Van Antwerp (1949-2013) given January 31, 2013 at Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria Ohio. Memorial Service and Eulogy requested by her for children: Carol, Marie, Victoria, Shawn, and Rhea's brother, Mike.    "In Loving Memory" June 15, 1949-January 28, 2013

12. Dominic R. Marian Sr (1927-2014) given February 17,2014 given at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery Mausoleum, Cleveland, Ohio            Gravesite Eulogy requested by Debra and Tom Campana and family.  "The Appointed Time" June 17, 1927-February 14, 2014.

13. Madie Lavern Garrett (1926 -2015)  Words shared on March 8, 2015 at Archer's Chapel United Methodist Church in Frogjump, Tennessee in her memory.  I was asked to speak at the service and read "When I Must Leave You", a poem by Lorainite, Helen Steiner Rice. This request was made by Mrs. Garrett's daughter, Judy Garrett and her son, Jerry Garrett.  (July 29,1926 - February 17, 2015).

 

14. Nicholas J. Deliman (1931-2015) Eulogy given at his funeral mass, Saturday May 23, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Lorain, OH.  Inurnment will take place at a later date, in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.  Parting words shared at the request of Nicholas Deliman and the approval of his son, Terry.  (December 21, 1931-May 19, 2015).

 

 

15. Bernadine Litchkowski (1937-2015).  Eulogy given at Bernie's Inurnment, Calvary Cemetery, Lorain on June 30th and again at her memorial mass held at St. Mary's Lorain on July 6, 2015.  I volunteered to speak with the approval of her friends.  Her living relatives did not attend either service.  ((December 6, 1937- June 6, 2015).
